Yes, 10 000 + member5s that is a serious wow, I remember when, but enough of that, let us talk about my absolute favourite subject today. Not Prince, or my joint dog, or she who must be obeyed. "YOU", yes "YOU" my absolute favourite subject. Let us be clear perhaps not "YOU as an individual, but"YOU" as a scared newly diagnosed (NEWBIE) with Relapsing-Reemitting ms (RRms) First off do not be scared, I highly recommend crying, but there is no need to be scared. This disease we have is incurable, chronic and progressive, BUT no matter what anybody says it is not life-threatening or life-shortening.
Nobody was born and promised a certain amount of years. Some live longer some less, but "YOU" my ms sibling (That is YOU just to be clear) were never promised anything. That being the case, my suggestion might be, start doing everything that "YOU" can to make the life that "YOU" have got, a really good one. Wipe away those tears for a moment, stop sit quietly and think. RRms is my situation now. I can not change it or make it go away. What can I do to live with it and live well and long with it?
First stop, YOUTUBE Dr AAron Boster md. I always get his name wrong one o or two o's I am not certain. An exercise in research for "YOU". Research is your friend in ms, get used to doing a lot of it. Be careful who "YOU listen to out in the world. There are lots of charlatans, some well-meaning, but wrong. Some who just want to take advantage of "YOU", I will let "YOU" decide which one I am, I will tell "YOU" this though. Sometimes I am wrong, if "YOU" are concerned by something I say get a second opinion, that goes for anything anybody says. Sad that, but is the world and society that we live in.
"YOU" might notice if "YOU" look at any of my posts they are about a page long, mostly because I do not like reading long multipage texts. So, I try not to put "YOU" through it. Somebody posted yesterday an article about resilience, 20 tips on everyday health I believe. I recommend having a read of that, "YOU" are going to need to start building your resilience. RRms is a lifelong condition, RRms takes a special person with special skills. Most of these skills we hav, we merely need some guidance in retrieving them. "YOU" can do ms, live it. live it well and live it for a long time. Take a little time, shed a few tears. I believe in "YOU", start believing in yourself. "YOU" truly can do RRms, go on make me proud.
