So here is my update, starting my next month of Rebif- side effects are getting better. Mainly joint stiffness and headaches the 24 hours after, not so much flu-ish anymore. My insurance keeps denying the acthar injections so the company is covering the 3 week treatment, Neuro thinks I still need it due to the fact the numbness in my hands and feet are back and not going away, says there is probably inflammation that’s not letting up— and now with smelling things that aren’t there so believe him. Hopefully that medication can get started next week because I go back to work on the 24th. Our Employee wellness department (I work for the state of CA) would not approve another demotion to a less demanding job. Since they already approved a medical demotion from peace officer to personnel HR specialist they won’t do it again stating that nothing physically limits me from a desk job. Even though the whole point as a less stressful position. So, on the bright side I won’t be losing money I just need to learn to pace myself and de stress. It’s not that my job is HARD persay it’s just mentally taxing and tiring. So wish me luck on that front! I am so hopeful I get this other medication and it helps to make going back to work easier. On the woohoo front I have been Keto for a few months and am down 30lbs as of today (10 of it in the last two weeks adding in Intermittent fasting) so I am super jazzed about that and am looking forward to adding in more physical activities soon. I know that getting to a healthier weight will help me feel better on a personal level so I am working hard at it.

Update
Wow, 30lbs, that’s quite the achievement. Keep it up, and going back to work may help you in the long run, so try to pace yourself. Keep us posted, blessings Jimeka 🦋
I’m glad Rebif is getting more tolerable for you.
Fantastic update! I’m glad to hear the company is covering the treatment and I hope it helps you. Bummer about the demotion not happening.
Keto on! 🎉 I just added intermittent fasting also and noticed I’m a total super hero now. Congrats on 30, that’s wonderful! 😍👏🕺
That's wonderful! Lots of good news. I hope the job stress evens out for you.
Keto is fantastic! Turns your body into a well running machine. I tried it as I read researchers were looking at it for Alzheimer treatment (runs in my family). It was great until my weight dropped so low and a Nutritionist said I had to add in Carbs. I now do Keto lite.
That’s my plan after I lose about 20 more lbs
How difficult is it to do? I tried Wahls protocol but i dont do my own grocery shopping and i am not allowed to use the stove or oven (i tend to burn everything in a major way)
glad things are starting to your normalize for you. I was rather worried. I still prefer Tablets over needles bit perhaps you are a little braver than me. Best of wishes for you.
So glad that you are adjusting to rebif.
Good luck! I was able to get acthar and it helped, hopefully your insurance comes thru. Also stick with the Keto it's a good plan in my opinion.
