Yeah last year the smoke was pretty bad in the PDX metro because of the fire in the gorge.

My friend in the ATX area posted 106° at noon on Monday. Its been in the 90’s for two weeks straight in the PDX area. The last few days I’ve been walking around a college campus in 90°+ heat! I had a cooling buff on that helped some. I think that a cooling vest works best for under 90° weather and that a heavy layer of the vest actually just cooks me from the inside and I can’t get any air circulation. Today I need to take time out for self care/recuperating from the heat and all the walking.

Now that’s what I call hot. It’s been in the low to mid 90s here in north ga basically all summer. That’s hot but 102 at 11pm is to much.
