Unfortunately, he left this morning,

Another one of those dreaded trips to China. Lyft picked him up at 11am, and he was gone. Poof! Now, I'm flying solo for a couple of weeks, so I'm being SUPER careful! I've started taking my walker with me most places, like my volunteer shift at the senior's gym that I did today.

Now, my challenge is remembering that I have my walker with me! Today, when my shift was over, I gathered up my purse and lunch bag, and headed down the hallway to leave. Luckily, my coworker Manny noticed that my walker was still sitting in the corner of the computer room, and I was disappearing down the hall without it! He managed to catch me, and pointed to my forgotten walker. OOPS!

I hope you’ll find ways to enjoy your time alone. Please be careful and use that walker!

The time will fly, and you can do this. You are a strong person, and you obviously have a good heart to volunteer with the elderly. Enjoy this time and do something for you, but don’t forget the walker. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🍫

Just be careful and does your walk have a place like a basket to store things if it does maybe you could leave something in there so that you won’t forget either things.

No basket, but I bought an aftermarket sac that clips on the front. Not as stylish, but no one has any expectations of me!

One day at a time! Each day tell yourself, " I can get through today."

I forget my cane all the time when i am out places! I leave it in restrooms, waiting rooms, shopping cards.... they need little alarm bells on them or something

Hubby has invested in these little chips that respond when you ask you phone where something is. He has put them on my purse, my walker, and our youngest cat since he likes to venture around our neighborhood!

This morning the young fellow across the street popped over and offered his services for anything that might put me at risk for a repeat performance, of my now famous stunt. I stepped back off the end of my drive, fell, and smacked my head on the road. I'm still paying the price for that fiasco!

Later this afternoon, my dog walking neighbor stopped by, and asked if hubby was back in China, and if so, he was happy to add my dog Lacey to his morning trip to a local dog park.

My dog adores Craig and his dog Boo, so would be very appreciative if you did this, and Lacey would shudder with joy.

I suspect that Chris, my cleaning lady's son, contacted Craig and mentioned this to him.

WOW! Great neighbors or what?
