I know I've spoken about having a swollen feet before and I believed that was from the baclofen and so I stopped taking the baclofen months ago and the swelling went away. Now my left foot that I dropped a bottle of soap wash on my foot while I was in the shower. My top of my foot turned purple alone the top of my foot. Where I dropped the bottle. Then the next day my foot started to swell. This is also wmy foot that has foot drop. I know you are not doctors but what I would like to know has anyone’s ever have a foot swell like this, it has gotten so bad that it is very hard for me to put my sneakers on.
So if any one has any ideas I would like to hear them.
One more thing I am having a hard time walking especially since I can’t get my shoe on.

My right foot is my bad one with drop foot and hammertoes. Have had surgery on little toe and big toe. Both times doctor had me ice my ankle twenty minutes every two hours for 48-hours. Also elevated to reduce swelling and stay off it for 3-4 days. Helped a bunch 👍. My right foot just doesn’t have the circulation as the left one. So maybe try ice and elevation might help 🤷🏼♂️. You might have broken a bone in the top of your foot 🤷🏼♂️. Might be time for “Doc in a box” or as people say immediate care🤷🏼♂️. Good luck, hope you get feeling better 👍🙏🐾 Ken
Thanks my neighbor had said that to me about the Brocken bone and I will also try the ice you know if it isn’t one thing or another thing. I have to many things wrong with me. You know what I say I AM DONE WITH THIS JUNK can this merry go round just stop so I can have at least a month with out anything going wrong.
Get to your doctor, if you have broken a bone, it needs attention. Keep us posted, and as Kenu says, Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🍫 💐
ssdw are you on blood thinners or do you have osteoporosis? My meds, ms, osteo, arthritis etc....has caused me to when i take a step i feel the little snap of bone.Shows on exray.Since you dropped the bottle and swollen purple you might need exray. To wrap or not...ice once an hour and elevate...may help.Sometimes as swelling goes down it hurts worse.Exray!Think we have a couple nurses here(and Kenu should be!)Great advice from all...hope i remember it...
ssdw1958 See a doctor about your foot. Delay isn't helpful with a broken bone. I have accidentally broken both toes and fingers, ignored the swelling and bruising for too long, only to find when I finally went to see a doctor that broken bones had begun knitting together at permanently odd angles. See a doc!
Years ago I have broken toes they don’t set them now fingers I hyper extended my ring on my left hand 20 years ago I had that in a splint about a month let me tell you that was a hard one with a baby who was 6 months old. I will let watch my foot if need be I will go to the ER, but for now the swelling has gone down drastically. I’ll let you know how it goes.
My toes on both feet are all crooked from not going in...I’ll only admit that I have broken every single toe “at least” twice.😱 A hard sole shoe should help a little with walking. Bones on the top or side of the foot can take a lot longer to heal. BC of your foot drop & gait issues - you really should go. -Kris
I want to let you all know I woke up this morning and took a look 👀 at my foot and the swelling went down a lot. You all have to realize one thing I don’t have a person to get me here or there. I am not saying this to have you feel sorry for me. Yesterday I had a ride by my son on his day off he brought me to the Social Security office I was trying to get SSI but I don’t qualify believe me don’t ever work for the state because if you do and you can’t work until you are supposed to retire you make practically nothing for retirement and you don’t have social security taken out of your pay.
But that’s life with a disease that takes so much out of you in more ways than one.
