I always called my neuro and then went for steroid infusions if I was having a relapse.

Bermondsey, it's Fancy1959. When I become aware that a relapse has started the first thing I do is to get home if I'm out and about or at work. Then I find a comfortable chair or sofa, kick back and relax. Often times that means a two to three hour nap. After I have rested next I try to eat to get fuel into my body and sometimes afterwards I lay back down. After the cycle if I'm not feeling noticeably better than yes I contact my neurologist and tell them what's going on. I have found out if it's eye related they will prioritize and get you in very quickly. Or call steroids into your local pharmacy very quickly. But I believe rest is the most important thing, and is your body's natural response to try to self-heal itself.
Take a shower, wash my hair, get a hot cup of tea, and go to bed.
