I still laugh when I remember my youngest son in his kindergarten Christmas program. He spotted me in the audience at the very beginning of the performance and waved to me throughout the entire program, often moving to center stage to make sure I saw him. The entire audience laughed through the whole thing, especially when Matt was moved back to his spot by a teacher, only to move to center stage right away, waving to me continually.

The recording stuff has gotten out of control!! Everyone is watching life through their stupid phone screens these days. I like to take a few pictures, maybe a 30sec video clip and then enjoy the event.

Haha I was one of those moms and I mean it. My son’s are eight years apart. But I do have to say I miss those days.

I can so identify with the "one or more songs make me cry". Was at my granddaughter's kindergarten program the other night. Each kinder class puts on a little show. I was sitting next to my son (my granddaughter's dad) and was crying through the program. He leaned over and said, "Mom, this is not Emily's class. You don't even know any of these kids". I know!!!!
