Saw Neurologist today. And was told that a more specific test than the evoked potential is the ocular CT. And that even if it is not optic neuritis what they are finding is that MS Can cause a deterioration of the retinal nerve causing the blurriness. This makes sense and hope it can be helpful for some others.

Thank you so much for this info! I'm totally going to look into this.
Thanks!!!! Initially I thought it was weird that the Ophthalmologist didn't find anything....Because I KNEW what I was "feeling" and seeing was/is real! Thanks so much for pursuing this
erash Thanks for your posts. I will definitely mention this next appointment with my Opthamologist. Nice to get an accurate diagnosis.👀
Thanks for sharing Erash, hope your eye situation can improve, blessings Jimeka
Thank you!!
I had a vision screening for retinal nerve damage as part of my disability application and it came back with indications of damage. I don't see as well at night because of it. I have to reevaluate any vision issues after I've had a nap because I already have vision issues (extreme myopia and astigmatism) so being tired can have a temporary effect too.
Be sure to have your doctor screen for macular degeneration, too. Blurriness associated with that could lead to a permanent loss of sight. Caught early, it can be stopped.
Thought that my worsening blurred vision was connected to the ms but it's macular hole in one eye...just one more problem !
