Hello everyone!!! First I want to say what a terrific group this is. I have read many of the previous posts and have found so much inspiration and information!!
I’m still waiting for a diagnosis. I had a lumbar puncture last week, along with a chest X-ray and knee X-rays. Saw my internist yesterday, but the lab hadn’t finished the tests yet. My knees are a wreck, my muscles from head to toe are aching so much-any touch from someone is really painful. I am getting more and more pins/needles, along with numbness in my hands and feet.
I did have something new happen. I’m curious if anyone has had anything similar. When I woke up two days ago I was extremely cramped up, as usual, but there was the feeling of tightness in my insides which also felt like there was cold water rushing around. Like someone had poured a pitcher of cold water down my spine and into my abdomen. I found it very odd.
I’m heading to an ophthalmologist soon to see what’s up with blurry vision and the floaters, which are getting worse.
Have a great day All,
Kimberly

Morning from the cold U.K. It’s 36*f and I don’t want to get out of my warm bed. Sorry that you have had to endure all those tests, I hope your doctors come up with an answer for you. As for the water running down your spine, I have had the feeling of water trickling down my legs, but when you look or feel with your hand expecting it to be wet, there is nothing. Keep in touch and let us know what your doctor decides, blessings Jimeka 🤗
Ya, it’s been a crazy couple of weeks. Now they want to replace both of my knees and my hip is screaming in pain also. What happened in the last month- I think someone put a spell on me. My muscles are also hurting so much. Anyway- if you all can add me to your prayers- I think I need Heavenly Father to bless me.
Dear Grandma Kimberly, i don't know what the answers are for you but i wish you peace amid the chaos. and i hope the pain decreases as much and as soon as possible.
I might want to add ... For the muscle cramping drink lots & lots of water at least 2-3 liters a day. It does help. I don't have near the trouble with cramping since I started drinking more water.
I am sorry you are having to endure so many odd symptoms. Maybe they will have some answers soon for you! Let us know about the blurry vision. I deal with floaters too.
i have had quite a few odd symptoms that i now attribute to my body being basically off. i have the running water sensation on the backs of my thighs and my bum. when it started, i kept touching the area b/c it felt so real. when my spasticity is bad, i have this sort of coming out of my skin feeling, where it's almost like my insides are writhing. i think it's my body's response to that much pain.
I met with my internist last week, it was a useless meeting. He should have had the results from my lumbar puncture- nope. Honestly he had no idea what I was talking about. He didn’t know why we would have done a lumbar puncture (other doc ordered) he ordered a bunch of other stuff, told me the ANA would tell us if it have MS.
I got a call from his assistant who said “I think all your results came in, ANA was negative, and your Vit D is low. We called in a Vit D script.” DONE
I’m frustrated to say the least. My pain doc is way more interested in what’s going on.
I feel like I’ve been dumped. At least I have my pain doc, he is awesome and will get me to a great neurologist and an orthopedist for the knees.
