Hyperpigmentation? Should I be worried

So basically, I have what looks like hyper pigmentation on the back of my neck. I've had small patches for years but it seems to have spread now

I'm not sure if I need to go to a doctor or skin specialist. Does it look like something I should be concerned about? Also I don't have it anywhere else just a few spots in my back too

Hi as it's now spreading I think I would advocate seeing your GP x

I think your right I have one my self on my shoulder I had it since I was really young and then spread as I grew. I was told it was dew to body changes like puberty. And I was told it would not continue to grow. I would send you a pic of mine however I'm new at this and don't know how.

Hello, hope your well. I have similar pigmentation on the back of the neck. Do you know what it is called? What medicine to take? As you last posted 4 years ago, has your pigmentation disappeared?

Hope to hear from you soon,

Thanks
