Hi, I have atopic dermatitis from the day I was born. Two years ago I noticed that my skin on both palms had changed. I have calluses on my palms (fingers), my skin hurts, bleeds and cracks. I have similar issues on the other parts of my body, but not that significant. Atopic steroid creams don't help me in the long run, so my doctor prescribed me a methotrexat. She told me to take it for a 3 months, and then we'll see whats next. Does anyone have experience taking methotrexate for a few months and then stopping it? Did the symptoms return or not?
