hi guys, I'm at wits end. I've had a itchy anus for 6 years now.has not stopped. Worse at night ,i feel . In 2018 did colonoscopy, tried , all creams just did my 3rd dose of anti parasites.last night was hell.i had.no option but to scratch . All night. Feels it's gotten worse.wemt back to the drs seeing a dermatologist but unsure they can help. Its in my anus and around.i feel itchy all over at times. Im struggling and want to be itch free nanyone experienced this ot similar? The itching will not stop!

I am so sorry to hear of your discomfort. As an eczema sufferer, I know how frustrating it is to itch. I can suggest washing yourself with cool water and rubbing in Sudocrem to the area. Only wear cotton underwear. I know living in Australia it’s very hot but try and keep cool where possible. I hope you get some relief soon

I am on same page as chandora, hope dermatologist can help, but itching is horrible, I also have eczema.

Have you looked at allergies? My eczema (and asthma) seem to be directly related to food issues.Might be worth trying a rotation diet (leave out a particular food for a couple of weeks, see it it feels better. For me, eggs are the worst culprit.

Dear Contra21,

An ex Girl Friend, from some years ago now, used to 'Itch' around her anus and her vagina- She, like you, just wanted it to STOP! Relief, though not an entire 'cure', came by changing her Washing Powder, Perfume- especially the 'In Bath' one- and a few Dietary Adjustments.

Without being 'Crude' here, sorry if this sounds it, but I 'Noticed' that this was Getting Better when there was no longer Blood in her panties- or on the bedsheets. I never actually Commented on this, to her, I didn't want to embarrass her.

Sorry if this 'Teaching Grandma To Suck Eggs' but, I just thought, that I pass on 'Carol's' experience(s).
