I have this little faint circular mark on the back of my hand (picture attached which is actually nearer my wrist than my actual hand) which really hasn’t changed in 7 weeks when I first noticed it. I had been to my sisters wedding and on this particular hand/wrist I wore a chunky bracelet which I assumed had possibly pressed into my hand too hard and bruised it. It hasn’t got bigger, darker or raised and isn’t sore too touch. I haven’t seen my gp about it as I wasn’t that concerned and also I feel like it would be taking up an appt someone else could need more than me, plus I am awaiting an endocrinologist appt later in December to check my levels for other symptoms I have. Just the off chance anyone else has ever had anything similar and could tell me what it could be or what it looks like? Any ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I would just 'Mention It', at your next regular 'Check Up'..... unless it Changes, of course, in which case Do make that Appointment. (Bruises Huh? Yes they Can take 'ages' to go away!)
thanks for replying. Yeah I do bruise very easily and always have done as long as I can remember but recent labs were “normal”, hence the Endo referral as getting other symptoms and levels thoroughly checked out too. Seems all the females in my family are easy bruisers. I just felt with this one not changing in 7 weeks was a bit odd
I was wondering whether it was contact dermatitis but that does itch and you've said that yours doesn't. So yeah, I guess just keeping an eye on it in case it gets bigger or starts to irritate your skin.
Thanks for this. It still hasn’t got bigger or darker plus I still can’t get into see my GP and most likely won’t anytime soon either. However, I have an appt with an endocrinologist soon and I was thinking mabye it’s hyperpigmentation caused by something else? I’m not sure. Appreciate the reply though!
