Welcome, Finngour! There is a lot of good conversation here. You will learn a lot from others' experiences and I'm sure your contributions, if any, will be helpful as well!

I just read your bio and wonder if you may be interested in a religious/scrupulosity support group as well. There is an online one through the Stick with the Ick app. You can download the app through the Apple or Google Play Store. The app is run by a reverend who is a person with OCD. The focus is on religious/moral scrupulosity. It is an inclusive group for people of all faiths or no faith. It also has subgroups and courses within the app. The general faith and OCD group within it is free. There is a Leap of Faith Speciality Group, a Motivation Speciality Group and a Resilience Speciality Group. There is a $15 monthly fee for each speciality group or a $40 monthly fee if you do all three. There are scholarships available if you want to do the speciality groups but cost is an issue. The person who runs the app doesn’t want finances to be a barrier to accessing the speciality groups. The general religious/scrupulosity is free and so is the app itself. The groups all include virtual options and online chat options where discussions take place. Your bio mentioned that you were looking for discussions.

If you have an Apple device, go to the Apple Store online, type in Stick with the Ick and download. The app itself is free. If you have an Android device, do the same thing on the Google Play Store. You can also access it by going to the Stick with the Ick website. The website is stickwiththeick.com. You can remain anonymous if you choose. Some people prefer to just use their first name or create a nickname. Some people disclose their full name. It is totally up to you and what you are comfortable with. You can choose to interact regularly or just sit back and observe. You pick your level of involvement.

Open up the App Store

Click on Search, type in the words Stick with the Ick

The app shows up with the words Stick with the Ick on a pink square. It will say Faith and OCD Community next to the pink square.

Stick with the Ick is the name of the app.

The other option is to go to stickwiththeick.com and join directly from the website. It will say Request to Join in the upper right hand corner.

Here is an invite link to Stick with the Ick. Just fill out the information requested in the link to sign up. The owner will review it and admit you to the Stick with the Ick Faith and OCD Community

I don’t think the owner of Stick with the Ick is a member of Health Unlocked but I may be wrong about that.
