Hi everyone! I recently moved coasts and had to leave my whole treatment back on the other coast unfortunately. I’ve had so much trouble finding an OCD therapist but mostly struggling to find a weekly adult OCD group.
Does anyone know any adult support groups for ocd and anxiety in the South Carolina/north Carolina area? Preferably virtual if possible if not nearby.
I loved my group back in Cali it was so helpful. Not maintaining weekly ocd support and practice is starting to show and slowly interfere with my life.
I’ve made so much progress after years of specialized therapy and going to treatment. I don’t want to fall back if I stop living the “erp lifestyle” and continuing to discuss my ocd etc.
Thank you so much! Looking forward to seeing what this platform has to offer!

If you go to iocdf.org and click on Find Help, you will see listings for support groups. Some are in person and some are virtual. I would suggest joining one that is led by an OCD specialist. Welcome to Health Unlocked!
I am currently looking for OCD Adult Support Group too, preferably virtual. I struggle with social structures so I'm new to this forum and community. If any of you guys have any suggestions of online support groups I could really benefit from it right now. OCD can already be isolating enough but thankful I've found this community.
Hi Steph! I’m new here too. I first joined the anxiety/depression group and just found this one, so now I’m in both! If you struggle with anxiety, definitely consider that group as well. I’m actually trying to find a virtual support group as well. The forum here is great, but I really need some real-time conversation. I saw Natureloverpeaces’ recommendation below that I’m going to check out. I was drawn to your post though because I actually moved coast to coast 8 years ago and a lot of my obsessive/intrusive thoughts revolve around homesickness. So, if you need someone to talk to that has also experienced a huge move and has obsessive thoughts and anxiety too, I’m here! ☺️
