I have been obsessing about possibly doing something to my son when I was sleeping. I know there is no evidence that it could be real but I keep on playing it over and over in my head to try and figure it out. Does anybody else struggle with this and feel like the details you fill in of the memory are so real !

Ruminating about past events such as whether or not I've contaminated something, or done something morally wrong, or left a stove or appliance on, has always been a big element of my OCD. I have found the articles by this therapist particularly helpful in learning how intrusive thoughts, ruminations, and OCD work, and I usually am much better at stopping the ruminations than I used to be:
