Hi all,

Had a recent flare up of my OCD and am wondering if anyone knows of any good podcasts on OCD or specific sites that have been particularly helpful? Thanks!!

The OCD Stories is excellent. So many episodes to binge on, if you aren't familiar with it. Covers all types of OCD, so not every episode will connect, but I still find it therapeutic.

NOCD is an app and virtual therapy offering. It may be helpful to you. My son has used it before. Good luck 👍

I love NOCD. Doing telehealth therapy with them and it is life-changing!

Is there a subscription for this app or is it free?

The writings of Dr. Reid Wilson and Dr. Michael Greenberg have been very helpful to me and I frequently recommend them. Here are their websites:

anxieties.com/94/ocd

drmichaeljgreenberg.com/

I also like anything by Steven Phillipson, especially his article "Choice." Just reading key parts of it is sometimes enough to snap me back to reality and say, "Oh, right - I have this disorder and its threats feel real, but they're not. I have to act like they're not." cognitivebehavioralcenter.c...

These three therapists have been on The OCD Stories many times. As GuitarDave says, not every episode of The OCD Stories will resonate, but there are plenty that will.

Shannon Shy's OCD facebook page is also inspiring, as are Ali Graymond's YouTube posts.

Others I personally like are Katie D'Ath, Jonathan Grayson, Ian Osborn and probably more I'm not thinking of off the top of my head. All of them have some form of resources on the internet.

ADAA (association of depression and anxiety) on Youtube. Flare-ups are hard! But they go away..hopefully, sooner than later. Best of luck

These mental health audio guides from our NHS (National Health Service) on this side of the pond are helpful - I've found them so. They're fairly short - about 7 to 8 minutes - scroll down to the ones on anxiety control training and unhelpful thinking but some of the others might also help you.

They're not aimed just at OCD sufferers, but are still relevant.
