She was perpetually inside her head, determined to navigate the hairpin turns of her overactive mind.

She always felt a bit overdramatic, like she looked at the world too deeply when things were just not that serious.

But she also believed there was beauty in the way she looked at the world through a kaleidoscope, like a stained-glass window shattered and pieced back together.

She thought of some people like mosaics, colorful and broken and made back into art.

If only...

If only she thought of herself that way.
