Why would being dead make you not guilty and why does being alive make you guilty?

Please don’t pay attention to my question if it triggers you or hurts you in any way. I was just trying to help but not sure if I did. I am just worried about you. I am here if you need to talk. I’m here for you!

The guilt is from the ocd. I think we need to realize that ocd will keep latching on the more we give in to the thought. Lets try to distract ourselves and do other things. We got this

Hey there,

it's really important to remember that we are not our thoughts. Our obsessions can be really really scary and disturbing because they latch onto what we care about the most , but they are just thoughts. They are unwanted intrusive thoughts. I know it's hard, but what really helps me with the guilt is to disengage from them and move toward something I value. I then remind myself that having unwanted intrusive thoughts isn't my fault or in my control. What I can control is living in my values instead.

This is OCD being a bully as it always is. OCD will tell you all kinds of junk to make you feel awful, guilty, etc etc etc. Tell OCD to hit the road! You are here for a reason my friend.
