About a year and a half ago, I started listening to music in general a lot(thanks to quarantine). So much so that I used to inherently challenge myself to identify a song from listening just a short melody contained within it in social setting and otherwise. One day, a melody popped in my head and I couldn't figure out what song is this from. It happened 7 months ago and till today, I feel anxious knowing I am not able to resolve its source and it bothers me a lot contemplating that it will always bother me. This intrusive thought starts to bother me when I am reading, having conversations, watching a movie etc. Basically anything that requires a bit if attention or focus, I get this intrusive thought. Is this OCD? What should my plan of action be?

I'm honestly not sure for this one, but you would need to talk to a psychiatrist or psychologist to know whether or not its OCD. If it was OCD the plan of action would be to live with the uncertainty and try not to figure out what song the melody is from.
Last year was a bad year.
