Contamination OCD

I suffer from Contamination OCD. I moved into a brand new apartment built this year the other day. The cable guy came and left brown dust on the floor, I fear that it could have asbestos in it, Am I overreacting?

It sounds as if this is an event related to a contamination spike. Your apartment was built this year. With the knowledge that asbestos ceased to be used in building construction decades ago, you should have a pretty good bet that your apartment building is asbestos free.

If you've taken a moment to sweep up and dispose of the dust, just try to remember that the dust is cleaned and gone.
