The technique of relabeling a thought as OCD does work eventually.
Recently, an old obsession came back, and I was struggling for few days, trying to relabel it as OCD.
After few days of struggle, now whenever the thought comes, I keep consistent about relabeling it as an OCD doubt.
In the beginning when the thought happened, the anxiety was high.
But now the anxiety has faded away.
Also, OCD is picking upon obsessing and doubting about other topics.
I just wanted to share my experience of how the technique of relabeling as OCD, can be used in obsessions. It seems to work out.
