What do dreams like these mean?

I saw a dream and it was very disturbing.I saw my self killing another person and i dont know why but i did.Than i woke up and felt terrible,somehow i got back to sleep and i saw a good dream i saw myself achieving my goal and playing by favourite sport.Now i dont know why this is happening but the dreams were really clear.Why all this confusion in my head?Why would i see a dream about hurting someone?Are the intrusive thoughts doing this or what.Thoughts didnt really bother me lately but why show up in a dream?

Dreams are the mind's way of blowing off steam and processing thoughts and feelings. I also believe our brains play out different scenarios for us so we can figure out how to handle hypothetical situations without having to live through them.

Your brain is just doing it's job every night by sweeping up the emotional and cognitive trash from your day and putting it in order.

Well, dreams are a tricky thing. Sometimes they can mean things, and sometimes they don't. Dreams are mostly unconscious, and the brain can come up with some strange things. I choose to believe that dreams are up to the person that dreamed them. But I think the biggest things is this, would you ever intentional hurt somebody, for no reason. If no, then it is just a dream. There are also less literal interpretations, death in a dream doesn't always mean a physical death, it can simply mean your brain is trying to eliminate some kind of issue totally unrelated.
