DAILY JOURNALS

Every night before I go to bed I write a journal specifically focused on OCD. I have found this very helpful to keep me motivated and get better mentally.

What my journal looks like:

3 things that went well:

- “I was present when I hanged out with friends”.

- “I did exposure therapy even though I didn't feel like it today”.

- “Focused well in work.”

What have I learned about the OCD today?

- Uncertainty is great!

- It's better to focus on what you want to do, rather than being stuck in your head.

OCD evaluation from 1-10:

- How much time did I spend ruminating/doing compulsions today? 3

- How much discomfort/anxiety did I feel today? 5

A goal for tomorrow:

- Be a little more self-compassionate.
