Support group

Anyone attend any online support groups? Only support group near me is an hour or so away

No experience with online support groups (except sites like this, of course), but I did attend my first in-person support group last week after having OCD for over 35 years. You might consider making the trip, as I found it extremely therapeutic and I wish I'd done it a long time ago. When we all sat down it occurred to me that for the first time in my life I was in a room with people who could actually understand what goes on in my head. It was enjoyable too - lots of heavy stuff discussed but with humor, and everyone was personable.

You may or may not like your local group, but I'd recommend giving it a try. Of course I commute 35 minutes to work each way every day so an hour doesn't seem so bad to me

Hi. Those sites are AWESOME. I wish there could be some more resources in spanish.
