Klonopin Withadrawal

Hi everyone,

I am on my third phase of weaning myself from Klonopin under my doctors care. The first two weeks were fine but since I last cut my dose back a few days ago I am definitely feeling some withdrawal symptoms. I have been down this road before and I know that I can do it again but your prayers are appreciated if you have a spare moment. Also if anyone has any tips for easing the discomfort that would also be greatly appreciated as well. Hope everyone is doing good!

Thanks in advance💖

Thank you!

I was on Klonopin in the past but it was not working, thus I had stopped.

I do not remember if I had any withdrawal symptoms.

It sounds like you are having a difficult time.

Currently, I am taking other medications.

May God grant you good health, and help you through this difficult time.

Hoping you feel better soon.

Take Care.

Thank you! Luckily, Klonopin has worked out really well for me but after being on it for a year I no longer need it as I am also on a long term SSRI. My withdrawal symptoms are a bit of shakiness, constantly feeling too warm, and an increase in my anxiety. But I know I can handle it as I’ve been on it before and was off of it for many years. I hope whatever you are taking now is working out well for you! Thank you for your well wishes. 💖

I withdrew from antidepressants last year and blogged about it here:

Feel free to check it out. I tried to be as positive as possible. Fair warning: I know withdrawal won't be possible for some people, and I don't want to make it sound like I'm anti-medication. I'm not, but I'm lucky that I got to a place (through a combination of hard work, significant lifestyle changes and, yes, bloody good fortune) where I no longer needed it.
