I have been coping well with me HOCD ( harm ) the way I see it now is "it will pass the thoughts will pass" this is good for me because now when I get a bad thought I tell my self it will pass might take hours days but it will pass and it's working Brilliant for me I keep telling my self your not a bad person you are a good person I work full time and look after my family.
I hope this will work on other people who suffer as well

I am glad that you are able to do the therapy for allowing the thoughts to be there.
I struggle with it on a daily basis.
But I am trying to focus on the particular thought, by sitting with the anxiety, and slowly
the thought fading away.
Thank You for giving us the motivation to keep trying.
"It will pass" has been my most helpful coping statement without question. I've even considered getting it as a tattoo! I'm happy to hear this has been helpful for you, and this post has made me feel way less alone. I hope this continues to be beneficial for you.
