Clomipramine for ocd

Hiya everyone, is anyone on here taking clomipramine? If so at what dose, I'm not sure if mine needs to increase as only on 40mg. Will have a word with doc next week.Hope everyone is doing OK. X

Hi RC - I've taken Clomipramine (Anafranil) in the past. I don't remember the dosage though. I do remember my side effects were SO much worse with Anafranil than with Zoloft.

Hi, I was opposite. Had to stop Zoloft due to gastrointestinal bleeding.Tried lots of SSRIs and all have the same Effect on me.x

I took 100mg and 150mg of Clomipramine. Lots of weight gain (about 50lbs) and other strong side effects like bad constipation. Had to stop because of side effects and on Prozac now. Clomipramine seemed to work the best though. Prozac makes me a bit nauseous, but that has been tapering off ever so slowly.
