With post "frozen shoulder" issues, I am still having shoulder pain (more of an issue at night in bed). I Am on Hydrea (1000mg daily) - anybody knows if receiving steroid injections for the pain could cause a problem for immune system?. (HU + Steroid = both lower immune system responses? - The way I understand.)

from my understanding, steroid injections raise platelet levels

That explains a lot - I had a significant raise of plateletts on my last test - dr could not explain but I forgot to mention my steroid injection about a month before

I had a steroid injection in my knee last week, doctor said it should be ok but to make sure I informed haematology next time I go.
