Covid / anti viral pills
hello Birdlady - I have been dodging the virus from the start, but like you I succumbed a fortnight ago - still testing positive but hope to be clear soon - count myself incredibly fortunate to have only had a mild bout - sorry can’t help on the antiviral question as was ‘triaged’ by various health officials + told I wouldn’t be eligible! (I have lymphoma as well as ET + if I’d have felt worse than I did or had a higher temperature I’d have been shouting loudly)! - if the virals had been on offer I would have requested the monoclonal infusion (I know others on the forum have taken antivirals) I do hope you are starting to feel better soon. Very best Anne-Marie.
I’ve had COVID twice and fortunately it’s been super mild both times. My haemo suggested taking paxlovid as soon as symptoms start but I never did that (I was overseas).
I’m stage 2 MF and was on Hydroxyurea at the time.
