Hi all, latest appointment today with my local hospital and back to the revolving door of doctors. The good news platelets still great 298 liver 's be behaving!!! eyes responding to drops.

So problems fatigue and stomach upsets.

So we are repeating iron tests and B12 apparently they are a bit low ( don't have the figures) .And then are was told that the RA could be masking PV. Just have to hope the Guys appointment comes through soon, as they didn't want to do a bmb to confirm whether it was et or pv.

Sorry to hear the revolving door of different hematologists continues to be an issue. That is an example of inadequate care. There is no way to establish a solid doctor-patient relationship that you can rely on to manage your MPN care. It is definitely time to get seen at Guys. Regarding being seen ay Guys, suggest following Yoda's advice. "Do or do not. There is no try." There is no "hopefully", there is only being seen where you wish to receive the care you wish to receive.

Regarding the masked PV, you certainly need an answer to your proper diagnosis. If you need to do a BMB then you want it to be done by a provider well qualified to perform the procedure and the assessment. Guys seems like an optimal place to make that happen.

Wishing you all the best moving forward.
