I've been on 10,000 IU's a day of Vitamin D for a long time, 5,000 morning and evening. The only thing it's done is build up my immune system. Sadly, I can't take Vitamin C, as it gives me diarrhea, but I'm careful to eat foods that contain it. So your consultant is correct.

Please make sure you’re taking natural vitamin C and buffered to protect your digestive tract.

Thanks. I've tried all kinds of Vitamin C and also magnesium. Both of them do the same thing to me. But my diet is really excellent and abundant in both nutrients, so I'm not worried.

Make sure it’s D3, not D2. Vit K is also important for uptake, don’t skimp on dark green veggies, or liver. I take 60,000 IUs per week. 3 tablets x20,000 IUs all at once with some fat (breakfast or lunch) it’s much easier. I buy Vit D3 depot 20,000.

Vit C should be buffered as not to cause stomach problems and best to take a natural vitamin and not synthetic (which is most and hardly works).

🙂

Magnesium is extremely important! I take 300 mg a day that is 2×150 of an excellent form of magnesium. It is a mineral that’s absolutely necessary to be healthy. It supports hundreds of functions in the body.

it looks like you were really interested in supplements and they are extremely important for us. I trust the following websites for a good information, but I don’t buy anything from them:

drjockers.com/magnesium-hea...

healthline.com/nutrition/be...

drugs.com/mtm/hydroxyurea.html (please check on your own which nutrients are depleted by HU.

An informed patient is a proactive and happy patient. 😁

wishing you all the best!
