Just need some advice. I've been taking my interferon injections every Tues eve for a few months & am due a flu jab. I would imagine it's not good to have it same day as my injections. So should leave it for a few days?... ie:interferon injections Tue evening & flu jab on a friday?
Thanks
Kevin

I do not believe there is any formal guidance on this but I agree with the reasoning and do the same thing myself. I schedule all vaccines between ny Besremi doses. I also stopped doubling up on vaccines. i did the flu and pneumonia vaccine together last year and that did not go well.
I take my peg on a Wednesday and just had my flu jab today, Friday. I had completely forgotten I had the jab this morning due to other issues going on, until I read your post. I deliberately made jab date separate to peg day.
I asked the clinical nurse at the Haem dept and she had no particular recommendations on this. So I had my Peg injection on Tuesday and covid plus 'flu jabs on Thursday. No real issues, usual aching arms (two jabs) and feeling a bit unwell on Friday. All gone by the Sat/Sun.
I’ve been on Peg for over 2 years on Thursdays. Upshot is I have little side effects from it. And to be honest I didnt even give thought to the timing of vaccines. Just had my third booster in one arm and flu in the other last Monday. Typical sore arm side effects. Good luck out there - trusting you’ll be all good when you get it done.
