Hello all, I had my 5th COVID pfizer jab at the GP yesterday. All is well (apart from the usual arm ache). I wrestled with the decision to take yet another jab (5 in 15 months) but now I feel relieved that my protection has been topped up once again. I probably would have declined but I work in a busy hospital environment and I sometimes feel exposed to risk and this has certainly alleviated any COVID anxiety. Hopefully, going forward, scientists are working on an annual vaccination for all of us. Keep well folks!

5th COVID jab done
Hey Redsab, , I think you've made the right decision given your working environment which is right up there in terms of additional risk of exposure. And I get that sense of relief having opted to have your fifth jab. I'm waiting to book my 4th following 3 Primary, it was due in early March but I copped for stinking cold which is proving stubborn to shift. I'm still going out to shops etc and don't feel quite as confident not being topped up. Our daughter in law had Covid again last week and the Grandkids pose a risk I guess. Might skip the 5th though and wait for the annual round along with Flu jab.
Take care - Chris
I’ll be getting my fifth on the 17th May, the day I become eligible. I also find the thought of continually keeping up to date with these vaccines unpleasant. Every 3 months getting jabbed, hoping this improves. Every time I’ve had the jab it’s not been long til they say we require another one to get us to the same level of protection as those without a condition like ours
