When should I have fourth Covid vaccination?

I see from some of the posts that people are having fourth dose around three months after their third.

The letter from my haematology dept says I will be called for the fourth dose six months after the third ?

I emailed my GP a week ago asking should/ could I arrange for fourth dose but haven’t had a reply. It is almost three months since my last dose .

I have had PV for 16 years, well stabilised on Hydroxycarbamide. Have four monthly blood tests and telephone appointments since first lock down.

The fourth dose was originally to be administered six months after the third Primary Dose, however this was later amended to 91 days.

The link below explains this.

I had my 3rd dose in November and have been called for my booster next week so 3 months literally bang on date. It's the health board who call you for it not your haematologist so I'd give them a call and chase it up or you can email the vaccination booking centre and they can advise you also

I had a phone call last week asking if I knew I was due for my booster after having a third dose at the end of October. So I’ve got an appointment on Saturday. I had to ask for the third dose instead of a booster so they’ve obviously updated their records.

As long as you have a letter about your 3rd primary dose you can use that as evidence that you are eligible for a 4th and go to any walk in vaccination centre that are doing boosters (as long as it is at least 91 days past your 3rd dose).

91 days after the 3rd dose was the latest update I think. I have not had any information from my GP or haem team for any of these jabs , except the first one. I went to a walk in centre and they checked me on the system and were happy to give me the booster.

I hadnt heard anything so called my GP thursday.

They stated not everyone who is clinically vulnerable will be called forward, only those most at risk.

They asked me to leave it with them and they called back yesterday to confirm i had been left off the list in error and are doing me a letter i can take into a walk in centre.

I get the impression a lot depends on the medication you take.
