After trying several times to book a 3rd jab and getting nowhere - GP denied all knowledge of such things! CCG not dealing with 3rd doses/boosters. Anyway I received a letter from haematology today saying I was vulnerable etc and would require a 3rd dose, this was after I enquired when I had my consultation last week and they didn’t know anything about it! The letter said contact GP and lo and behold they had a number for me to call. Rang them and got booked in to the ‘special’ clinic next week. Also managed to sort an appointment for my husband next day.
Result! Might buy a lottery ticket - feeling lucky!

Fabulous! It’s all very wearing - but I pestered and pestered cos if we can find out about what we should be getting, then our ‘experts’ should be able to as well - I get my jab tomorrow!
I’m having the same trouble GP and local haematology don’t know where I should go for a third full dose. Unbelievable even though I copied the letter from MPN
As your healthcare team seem resistant to your plight, I’m thinking the best thing for you is to ensure you at least get the ‘booster,’ which is valid 180 days after the second vaccine. I imagine you must be around that stage by now? It’s not ideal we know, but I’m sure the stress of all this must be having an adverse effect on you.
You can always argue your point for a fourth Vaccine in six months time. Xx
Ccg sent me an email yesterday with the letter attached and I had the jab this morning and do you know what, they hardly glanced at the letter. If I'd known what was in it previously I would have typed one up myself and presented it
