Hello my MPN brothers and sisters. Just an update. I received yesterday morning Covid Phyzer booster and by the afternoon it got quite painful and by the evening I got pain all over my body, in my bones, muscles, joints, etc.. I took paracetamol before bed and it eased pain but I could not sleep all night.
Wising you well.

I had mine on Monday morning, was unwell Tuesday morning, then much worse since.Cannot remember feeling so poorly, still trying to move about, back resting again now Thursday lunchtime.Hope you don't suffer so long.
Thank you Light,I have slept most of today, eaten a small meal this evening, think I might be recovering at last.I had no probs with my first or second Pfizer vac, didn't expect to feel so rotten with the third. My husband is OK after his, just a bit of muscle aches.Must be be us M P Ners.I am P V bordering M F now taking Rux.Hope you are better now,be interesting to see if others on the site are poorly after boosters.Best to you
Sorry to hear you both had a difficult reaction. Can you please tell me if you were advised to wait a certain amount of time since your last shot? I had the two shot Moderna but Maz’s information doesn’t say if we need to wait a specific amount of time. Hope you’re both better by now. Katie
Getting my booster in 3 days, will be prepared for a possibly worse reaction than after the vaccinations, to which I had very little other than a bit sore around the injection site.On a positive, I have read that more response to the shot can mean that you are fighting it and producing more antibodies and thus protection in your body…
Yes, Im better thank you. Just find out that this Phyzer vaccine was third jab and in six months I will receive booster. This is all so very confusing considering vaccine. The good part is that now finally we MPN's considered to receive more vaccine in order to be protected as we have compromised immune system. Good news!!
