Take Part in the 30 Days Hath September Challenge raising Funds For MPN Voice

September Blood Cancer Awareness Month is a well known and popular campaign which runs every year, promoted by many different blood cancer charities to engage supporters to fundraise during the month of September and to focus more on raising awareness for a particular blood cancer and supporting charity. MPN Voice has launched ‘30 Days Hath September Challenge’ to kick start our drive to help the health and mental wellbeing of our MPN Voice Community and to raise much needed funds. And it’s not too late, so sign up now, you can still take part.

Challenge yourself, family and friends to raise awareness, help your own wellbeing and raise funds for MPN Voice to support our Community and fund research to - Find the Cure!

Here are some of the amazing challenges and events that our wonderful MPN Voice supporters are doing.

Barbara Bainbridge and Julie Stenning are having Coffee Mornings. Daisy Williams, her family and friends are going on a 10 mile walk. Genette Flynn is holding two garden parties. Jane and Rob are still deciding on their challenge. Anne James and 6 friends including Jay, who also has an MPN are walking up Snowdon! Emma Harrison is doing a running challenge. Suzy Angus is learning how to play a musical instrument! Marilyn is doing a virtual walk from her home to Antwerp – 425 Km. All the Team at Enfys Hapus Nursery are doing the Pen Y Fan Walk. Tracy Broadley is shaving her head and Claire Calverley-Smith is doing a virtual walk to the summit of Everest – climbing up her stairs!!

And of course let’s not forget our MPN Voice Abseil Team, doing the St Thomas’ Hospital Abseil Challenge – Susan Glover, Rachael Yeomans, Calliope Lalousis, Alice Absalom and her two brothers, Julia Jarvis, Dean Johns and Brett Sulston.

There will be lots of fantastic photos and stories to tell throughout September!

MPN VOICE 9th ANNUAL AWARENESS DAY THURSDAY 9th SEPTEMBER

Thursday 9th September is the 9th Annual MPN Awareness Day. A day to ‘think of yourself’ take time to think about your overall mind and body wellbeing, do something that makes you feel good, be kind to yourself and focus on you, and to help you with this: watch your favourite movie/box set; treat yourself to a bunch of flowers; sit in the garden all day and read a book, or listen to your favourite music!

These are just a few ideas for you to think about. And please remember, whatever you do, make sure it is COVID safe, and ENJOY!
