Kresser is a prominent quack - an acupuncturist who amongst other things believes that a fad diet is a good alternative to the flu vaccine.

Lol, that’s why his name is familiar. Thanks! I came across him when a conspiracy theorist was trying to talk me into something in the past.

Ah just seen above !! I didn’t know anything about him .certainly wouldn’t stop taking aspirin much as I’d like to .

Always interesting to read different peoples stuff and sift out the weeds from the Chaf !!!!!

😊 thankfuly we can get a heads up from people who have already been there. And I was worried that my comment was offensive to you, it truly was not meant to be.

I think the problem with many alternative suggestions is that they are just NOT strong enough. One that comes to mind is aged garlic to reduce the stickiness of blood….it’s like watching a mouse push a boulder, I imagine. 😁

Of course I wasn’t offended . I love this forum as a way of debating in an intelligent way !!!

I was worried about being seen as daft !!

I’m very happy to hear that, Mostew. Exploration is never daft. I shall try and not be daft now and actually click on your link and not just google his name 😉….although, I am ultra skeptical of American gurus/preachers/sharks so that’s all I may see.

Would hate to be thought of as one of the conspiracy theorists etc!!

Havnt clicked on C K s ebooks . sceptical when sites do that . To entice you in ….

I agree about the American gurus.

I suppose I remain ever hopeful I can stop taking aspirin and not start Hydroxy … but ……

So good to chat with you.

I’m not on Facebook etc . So easy to get caught up in nonsense .

😊 from your conversations I don’t believe any of us could take you as a conspiracy theorist. Phew! 😉

Yes, I totally understand the balking at taking meds…I am doing a pretty good job of that so far, just hope I’m right. I refused the poisonous HU outright, but diligently taking my Aspirin daily….bit annoying that in Aus it’s 100mg, though.

I did read carefully an old 2013 paper yesterday, it makes one think most MPNers should be on Jakafi.

Here’s the link if you fancy the read -

Nice to chat to you also, Mostew. X

So glad I don’t sound daft !!!

Do you take Vit. C with aspirin . It’s supposed to help protect stomach xx

Thanks, I didn’t know about that, and luckily I just happened to buy some non-acidic vitamin C in the hope that it will help my stomach. The only trouble I’ve noticed from the Aspirin is just very recently, the last couple of nights in fact, I get a little, very little, indigestion after dinner. X
