I decided to do my second antibody test sooner rather than later as I’m meeting up with family over half term. Apparently a result greater than 0.8 U/mL means that antibodies are detected. My result came back at 24 U/mL! That is despite a dose of 20 mg Ruxolitinib twice daily and advanced post ET MF. I have a very low white count but almost normal leukocytes. Whilst it is not a massively high number of antibodies -it appears to be on the lower end of a normal response. This is excellent news as I was expecting a zero result.

I got to meet my gorgeous grandson yesterday and will be able to see my granddaughters later in the week for a hug after almost a year so I am one happy bunny today!

Very best wishes to you all. Stay safe and keep well. Jan xx

I'm so pleased for you that you have got a positive result. I hope the procedure second time around was a bit easier than the first attempt! It must be lovely hugging your grandchildren after such a long time.

All the Best,

Caroline

Thank you Caroline. Yes there was no drama the second time round - I’d had all the pitfalls the first time. Meeting my grandson was just indescribable. I am so in love😍😂. Now to see and hug the girls - life is good xx

That's such good news, Jan. It's such a joy to see and hold the grandkids after so very long a time away from them. Very happy for you. Kim

Happy Days Jan , , , it's good to get a boost after all the doom and gloom . . Meeting up will, be all the sweeter for it. We finally saw several of our Grandkids from away today as they visited local zoo and detoured to ours for refreshments before heading home. They included a 9 month old who we met for the first time thanks or no Thanks to Covid. Enjoy some overdue hugs and we'll deserved time with your Granddaughters.

Thanks Chris. Family is everything to me so the separation has been a real trauma. It makes reunions oh so sweet though. Glad you too have been able to catch up with grandchildren. Stay safe my friend xx

That’s really good news Jan! So encouraging to know as you meet up with family again. You can hug all the grandchildren now as much as you like! I also find your news personally encouraging as I have MF and also take 20mg Ruxo twice daily. Enjoy those grandchildren! Ettiel
