Blood pressure tablets
I have ET too and I had very bad pain in upper left side of my back which was constant for about 2 months but fortunately it eventually went off. I was convinced it was one of the tablets I'm taking, but they said muscle strain, so probably was. I've been on same BP pills for about 30 years! We never know what these medications are doing to our bodies. Hope your pain goes off soon. Regards Fran
Thanks what BP are you on I had a scan today to make sure it’s not a clot I’m happy for you
Hi azalea are you in Australia
Hi, my BP pill is Verapamil 160 morning and 80 mg evening. No, I'm not in Australia, in Yorkshire, England. Are you in Australia? Did your scan turn out ok? Hope so.!
I’m in Australia I had the Scan today I will find out in a couple of days my BP tablets are Metoprolol.I have been on a week
It sounds like the pain I had with reflux when I was pregnant. Any chance that could be it?
Is your spleen enlarged? An enlarged spleen can radiate pain to your left shoulder...I don't know about the chest and back though?
*Actually I just found this: As spleen is located adjacent to the diaphragm, the pain caused due to enlarged spleen radiates to the back and can also result in shoulder pain.
Have a lot of back pain but due to stenosis of the lower spine so guess that’s not too much help with your question but I’m trying to not blame my ET for every little ache and pain and it’s hard not to as I want answers and sometimes it just is::::: I have to understand that ET just doesn’t cause everything and sometimes there really are other reasons....pulled muscles, age (I’m 77), stress, just a bad day or week or even month, lousy diet or lack of exercise..... tain’t easy folks!
thanks everyone for the replies
Blood pressure medication is not known to cause pain.
