I did and it lowered my platelets from 1100 to 890. I have ET (JAK2+). I did this for 2 years.

These were all really high quality supplements (expensive). Allium (garlic), fish oil, vit e, curcurmin, aspirin.....& 3 glasses of red wine per week. I think that is all but my brain fog has kicked in. Will try to find the paperwork with the dosage amounts.

Thankyou for the info. Would really appreciate knowledge about the dosage amounts of the supplements.

Waiting for the Dr. to send me a copy of my records as I can't find anything since I moved & my brain is not a reliable source.

I do not believe that the dosages were anything exceptional but will let you know as soon as I can.

Also add D-3.

These are all great natural remedies to take and I’m also trying them - but homeopathy is a little different - it’s based on the premise that a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people. Even arsenic in very tiny, tiny amts is used for certain illnesses

Were you on any medication at the time or was the drop on platelets just due to your homeopathic regime? What you were taking sounds like what a lot of us are already taking, the curcumin for example. But the red wine sounds interesting?

I think it is important to clarify that what h2ogal has mentioned are supplements which is different from homeopathy. Deefen has already clarified that well . Also ,”wine has tannins which may prevent uptake of iron” - is one theory -why some people believe it is good to manage iron concerns in MPN ....... but should be cautiously researched better of course..... Homeopathy does mention some medicines to keep platelets down and hence have sought real-time opinions to support or dismiss the possibility ....... Supplements, homeopathy, wine , calcium as milk or tablets/syrup, .... all weapons to fight MPN are welcome but only if verified and ratified ........
