Just back from a very informative forum where my partner and I met some lovely people. As the daughter of someone with MDS/MPN with MF I found the breakout family and friends group very helpful, hearing others' stories and suggestions was comforting. Thank you to all at MPN Voice (and the buffet was fab 😉)

Totally agree and a big thank you, as usual, to Maz, Nona and everyone involved in making it such another great success.
Lovely to meet new MPN friends and catch up with old ones!

Hi Dianne I responded to the post about the recent forum where someone enquired about people in the North East and North Yorks getting together.I didnt get to the forum, however I would love to meet up with others in the group.I live in Darlington.I seem to have lost where the post is and cant find it.Sand dancer replied to say she would like to meet up.I did ask if people were interested if they would reply.I am quite new to the group diagnosed in July this year.If you would like to meet up with others please would you reply, and we can look to arrangi g a convenient location for all interested.I look firward to heari g from you.Thanks.Marilyn x
It was a great afternoon wasn’t it? It’s my first forum and I was very impressed. I would have loved to have met more if you personally but looking at name badges doesn’t help when we all know each other as ‘Sand-dancer’ etc 🤣. Maybe we should have our MPN Voice profile names on our badges too eh ? 😊. I would like to thank Maz, Nona and everyone involved too. Lesley x
Yes, it was very informative and great to see such a good turn out. I thought the same. Wish I could have met with local people as I can see from this site that there are a few people who live near me. I'm in North Shields. Maybe we could get together sometime? Sandra x
Really pleased I met you in person Lesley if only briefly.Hope your results are not what you fear ...Bon Voyage and happiness with family in Portugal.I was nearly blown over by the wind leaving the centre!'!!!The journey back to Yorkshire was terrifying!!!!All worth it not to feel the only P V on earth!!!xx

Yes, it was very helpful and good to share with others. Thank you to all the speakers and all the team at MPN Voice for arranging the forum and all the other excellent support you provide.
Ditto. The break off groups were really relaxing and listening to others inspired me.
Anyone willing to sum up the informative information, for those of us too far away to attend ?
Hi All, it is great to hear that the forum went well in Newcastle.I missed out as im in London at the minute. It would have been a fab opoortunity to meet you all.I am diagnosed 3 mos now, and remain anxious wjth lots of questions. As there appears to be a number of us in the North East North Yorks.I think it would be brilliant if we could arrange to meet up at an agreed central town and venue etc. I live in Darlington. If those of us who would like to get together would reply, and we can work out a way of making it happen.I for one would welcome the opportunity to meet you, look forward to it. Keep Well.Marilyn xx
Hi Marilyn, I certainly would like to meet up at some point. I live in North Shields and have had PV for 12 yrs. Look forward to meeting you sometime. Sandra x
thank you to everyone who came to the forum, it was lovely to see so many people there, myself and Nona thought it was a good forum. Maz
I didn’t know what to expect as it was my first forum, It was very informative and fairly relaxed. I enjoyed the talks and said hi very briefly to one or two people. I would have liked to chat to more people but sadly had to rush off! Maybe next time. Marie thank you for reaching out and saying hello it’s much appreciated and I hope you are now coming to terms with your diagnosis and doing well. Finally Thank you to all who are involved in making these forum’s happen 😉
