Quick question, does anyone get sore and bruises with clexane injections? I've been on them for 5 months and struggling to find a injection area without a bruise or sore spot.
Clexane injection : Quick question, does anyone... - MPN Voice
Clexane injection
Hi, I only had Clexine when I was about to have surgery and for a short time afterwards then I had to go back on my Warfarin. Why are you having to take injections and not Warfarin? When I was on it my stomach was covered in bruises so, yes, that's usual.
Hi Jill. I was on warfarin for 2 years previously but had a varicies bleed so until my varicies have been banded and eradicated I can't go back into warfarin. Unfortunately it's taking longer than expected so 5 months on I'm still having to inject, which it now making me very sore.
Thank you for replying
Best wishes Jo
Hi Jo, sorry to hear that you are having this problem with the soreness and bruising, it might help to speak to your haematology nurse or even the practice nurse at your GP surgery, they may be able to help with this. Maz
i did, but in a strange way. I was on Clexane with Warfarin, at the start of my treatment, but my INR refused to hit its target, until I was advised to take a double dose of warfarin to kick-start things. Three days after, ever single injection site across my belly bruised up, painfully. It looked spectacular. But then it settled down.
