Hello everyone, wondering if anyone else is low on vitamin d. I was seen in immunology this week. My consultant is shocked I'm still walking around, my vitamin d level is 7 and it should be 75. Was told got to be careful of falling, tell dentist if I attend dentist. Consultant asked how my memory was, I said terrible, consultant said she' not surprised.I've been put on vitamin d meds, more blood test February and seeing consultant.

E T and Vitamin d
My GP noticed a vitamin D deficiency in me a couple of years ago, was on high dose Vitamin D tablets for over a year but, fingers crossed, all seems ok now and am no longer having treatment. Good luck

Thank you I'm on vitamin d meds for 6 weeks at the moment. Did you feel any improvement being on them
Many change I noticed was my mood improved. Had not really registered that I was a bit depressed, guess it comes on slowly, but it was a case of just feeling lighter in myself and looking back I could then see that I had been depressed.
Thank you, it’s not something I’ve thought about but will do now.
Kindest regards Aime xx😺😺
Hi linphy
It was discovered I was vitamin D deficient about 2 years ago, before my ET diagnosis. I’m now on meds’ for it but don’t know my levels. I presume they are okay as nothing has been altered. I was told then it is a symptom of fibromyalgia but maybe it was the ET all along.
Your level sounds really low. Hope they can get you ‘up and running’ so to speak and have a careful Christmas and New Year!

Hi. I also showed low vitamin D on a blood test. Have been taking a supplement for 6 weeks and now advised to buy my own over the counter as GP said they don't prescribe it. She said it's not uncommon living in UK.
All the best
Same for me once I've finished course what consultant prescribed I have to buy over counter.
Best wishes
