ET and taking Hydroxy. Understand one of side effects can be sores in mouth and throat? Was horrified to read that, but so far no problem. My dentist recommended using rinse for dry mouth, said some chemo drugs cause dry mouth and therefor the PH balance. Again the importance of hydration, anyone have issues or solutions?

I've had dry mouth and as a result, hairy black tongue. Nasty looking but benign. I'd say get the mouthwash ( biotene probably) so you have it in the house. Then chew gum, stay hydrated and see how it goes. Good luck!

yes, I had a few small sores in my mouth. Solution: drink plenty of water with the hydroxy and rinse with mouthwash, forgotten what mine's called but now have no problems.

I have some bleeding from my gums, I use Corsodyl mouth wash

Yes it can effect your mouth so lots and lots of water and good cleaning and Corsodyl and you will be fine.
