We want Answers that don’t yet exist for Covid 19

We are the MPN generation that can help those in the future, from our own anxieties to actual symptoms.

For me living with PV and taking RUX and HC a cocktail that puts me in the higher risk bracket, high temperatures dry mouth and fatigue are not uncommon for me. So when do I worry? I have an ear infection so a fluctuating temperature is expected.? I have socially distanced my self down the lake, and even the fish are keeping away !

For the last 3 days my temperature has ranged from 99- 104 and this evening I have felt fatigue worse than usual, a dry mouth worse than usual and lost my appetite. I do not have a headache or a cough of any description, but every now and then get a feeling I can only describe as weird, fatigue mixed with being lethargic mixed with a low mood but being content, that comes in waves and lasts for 15mins to half an hour, told you it was weird, are these symptoms to worry about or are they born of my own anxieties? I like to think I am resilient enough not to panic and mindfulness is keeping me clear headed I welcome all thoughts then let them move on. Tomorrow I am going home to self isolate and hopefully my high temperature is down to my Artic sleeping bag keeping me too toasty !

I hope you are all coping well in this turbulent time.

Stay safe and have fun,

Hello Ourlife, I get spells of lethargy, fatigue, low mood but not in short periods, mine can last a few days, I can also identify with feeling 'content' at the same time. Acceptance of how I feel on any given day is much easier to cope with rather than getting upset. Getting upset robs me of more energy. I know it lifts again when it's ready. Almost like rebooting my computer.

Ear infections are so painful, hope you have antibiotics to sort that. I remember having an infection in both ears in my 20's which lead to my eardrums perforating. Worst pain I can ever remember and I had a high temp with that .Hope you temp rights itself and you feel more like 'you' very soon and can get back to enjoying the great outdoors.

Stay safe!

Grace

Last night I woke up with the worst trapped wind I have every experienced which lasted around 1.1/2 hours and this morning the fatigue and nausea was so bad I packed up and went home, I am now self isolating, my ear is improving but my temperature is not, nor is my appetite no headache or cough

May be time for the covid19 test if it is available to you. Isolate and take care of yourself, keep well hydrated, call a covid hotline if you have one available for their directions. Good luck to you.
