Looking to move forward

Hi, I'm new to this group and live in West Sussex. After trying for nearly three years after a miscarriage, I'm entering a new phase in my life to accept and embrace the world without a child. I teach young children to sing so finding life a real challenge at the moment, plus surrounded by lots of friends with babies. I'd like to hear about your stories of moving forward and what has helped you build in strength to live a fulfilled life once again. 😀

Hi there, you're not alone in this, it can be so difficult when we find ourselves surrounded by friends with babies.

I've listed some of the things that I've found really helpful in my journey of coming to terms with childlessness.

- Meeting others who've had the same experience (either online or in person) is so helpful. I hope to announce a London meet up soon, but other places you can find support are Childless Collective (Gateway Women) gateway-women.com/ and the Full Stop Community: thefullstoppod.com/ . There is also a More to Life Facebook community (see the pinned post on this channel), where others talk and hope to arrange meet ups.

- Jody Day's book, Living the Life Unexpected - is so helpful on how to move forward. amazon.co.uk/Living-Life-Un...

- World Childless Week resources, particularly the Moving Forwards day, has a variety of help and support in this area: worldchildlessweek.net/movi...

Please reach out if I can help further, and best wishes.
