I spoke this afternoon by telephone with a Christian Counsellor at Canaan who helped me put my little issue into practice.
They said that everything ultimately lies in the hands of God, his overall plan and will for our lives and similarly we can’t always get what we want in life.
Parenthood is also something that not everyone can also automatically have, achieve nor is guaranteed or just a given. In truth, I left it too late as I spent my 20s and 30s just on studies, work and not meeting the right person when I was younger. It is partly now age related as well
They also said that the best way to come to terms with the fact that you are most likely not going to ever become a Father and it not also going to ever happen to you, is to view it that God did not choose that particular role and calling for your life, but you can find something else as a role, as after all, does one miss what they have ever had or experienced etc.
It may also be the case that as God knows and sees everything, that particular role in life is perhaps not for you either, and if it was meant to have happened, it would have happened by now.
