To find a non-medical home care service, start by researching online or asking for recommendations from friends, family, or healthcare professionals. Look for agencies with good reviews and proper licensing. Schedule consultations with potential providers to discuss your needs, services offered, and costs. Inquire about caregiver qualifications, background checks, and training. Ensure clear communication and a detailed care plan. Lastly, consider the compatibility of caregivers with your loved one's personality. Making an informed decision will help you find a reliable and suitable home care service.

Look for senior care or homecare? I have used the agency called "Visiting Angels" which I know is a national chain. In 2014 thru 2016, I had four surgeries in a row for two knees and two hip replacements surgeries. I hired them and they came several times a week to help me during this time. They mostly helped me with housework and exercising, not medical home care.
